Hiring Sampford Peverell Village Hall
Facilities
The hall has a large central room with its own stage and lighting, and a small Committee Room. We have a fully equipped and recently fully refurbished kitchen. All parts of the Hall have access for disabled persons, and there is a dedicated toilet for their use. There is a public car park opposite the Hall.
The main hall has a modern ceiling-mounted video projector, with speakers and multi-channel control desk, plus a motorised 3 metre wide cinema screen suitable for showing films of various formats. The sound system also includes microphones, and users may bring and connect their own laptop, I-Pad or similar, to project DVDs or Power Point presentations. We also provide Free WIFI.

Charges for hiring the hall
Due to the huge rise in energy bills the Hall Committee has reluctantly agreed to increase the charges for hiring the hall starting from 1 October 2022. We have tried to keep these costs to a minimum so that it will not impact too much on the community for whom it is run.
Main Hall
Community groups and organisations £10 per hour
Small businesses £15 per hour
Large commercial £300 per day
Committee Room
Community groups and organisations £7.50 per hour
Small businesses £15 per hour
Parties
Children's parties, 9-12 am or 1-4 pm £40, plus £15 surcharge for bouncy castle
Adult parties £100, which includes the alcohol licence
Weddings £300, which includes the alcohol licence
Special functions (e.g. weddings) - a deposit of £50 is payable at the time of booking. Cost of any breakages etc. may be deducted
For parties of under-eighteens, an adult must be present at all times
